DEPARTS: Daily

Day 1: Darwin to Kakadu National Park – 210km
Collect your vehicle and depart Darwin for Jabiru, located in the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park.
Birdwatchers and nature lovers should stop at Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve and Window on the Wetlands
Visitor Centre. A visit to the Bowali Visitor Centre Park is a must to learn about this unique environment. Stay the
next two nights at Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel.

Day 2: Kakadu National Park
This morning you are booked on a Yellow Water Cruise from Cooinda. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Take the opportunity to visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Nourlangie Rock or an optional scenic flight (extra charge). Make sure you visit Ubirr Rock to see some of the oldest and easily accessible Aboriginal rock art.

Day 3: Kakadu National Park to Katherine – 310km
Travel towards Pine Creek and onto Katherine, making a stop at the beautiful Edith Falls. Katherine Gorge is located 30 kilometres from the town centre; here the river flows between towering walls of colour. Stay the next two nights at ibis Styles Katherine.

Day 4: Katherine
This morning enjoy a spectacular two hour Katherine Gorge Cruise. Katherine Gorge is a system of 13 gorges all joining by rapids. The best way to see the Gorge is from the water, however there are also scenic flights and plenty of marked walking tracks. The afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps visit Mataranka Thermal Pools which is 106 kilometres from Katherine or other local iconic attractions. The thermal pools are a very popular swimming spot and are a constant temperature of 34 degrees.

Day 5: Katherine to Litchfield National Park – 455km
Drive north and enjoy a full day exploring Litchfield National Park, the Top End’s most accessible natural attraction offering swimming and spectacular waterfalls year round. There is swimming in specified areas, photography, wildlife observation and bushwalks ranging from a 20 minute stroll to extended walks. Stay overnight at Litchfield Motel.
