DAY 1 – AUCKLAND (D) On arrival at Auckland Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation. The remainder of the day and evening is free to explore. Tonight, enjoy a 3-course dinner for two with an exclusive off-menu surprise selection. Your wine journey will be tailored to your tastebuds, courtesy of the QT Wine Butler who will curate a personalised list for you to choose a bottle to enjoy with dinner. Overnight: QT Auckland

 

DAY 2 – AUCKLAND – WAIHEKE ISLAND (BD) After breakfast, check out and head to the ferry terminal for the 35-minute cruise to beautiful Waiheke Island, the jewel in Auckland’s stunning Hauraki Gulf. You’ll be met on arrival at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal and transferred to Delamore Lodge, with its breathtaking views overlooking Owhanake Bay. Today is free to relax in the sublime surrounds of the resort or do a little exploring of beautiful Waiheke Island. Tonight, enjoy pre-dinner drinks, canapés and a two-course dinner in the Lodge restaurant. Overnight: Delamore Lodge

 

DAY 3 – WAIHEKE ISLAND (BLD) Enjoy breakfast before being collected for your full day private Gourmet Food and Wine tour of Waiheke Island. Sample fresh oysters, award-winning olive oil and other local produce including wild honey, the famous local green herb spread and artisan cheeses. Taste wines from some of the island’s top boutique vineyards before a platter lunch at one of the top vineyard restaurants. Your driver will return you to Delamore Lodge mid-afternoon where you will have time to relax before another delectable two-course dinner in the Lodge restaurant. DAY 4 – WAIHEKE ISLAND (BLD) After a leisurely breakfast, head to the Waiheke Community Art Gallery, the starting point for a fantastic scenic walk with expert guiding and interpretation. Experience the diverse and lively creative community on Waiheke – visiting Oneroa galleries, a sculpture park, artist studios and lunching at the spectacular Church Bay home and studio of painter Gabriella Lewenz. The Art Walk takes a leisurely pace so you can enjoy both the art and views while wandering through bush tracks and local roads. Come away feeling inspired by what you have seen and heard from the artists you’ve met - with stops at an artist goldsmith, a glass artist, an artisan shoemaker, and painters’ studios. Walk back through the Atawhai-Whenua Forest and Bird Reserve to finish. Dinner in the Lodge restaurant. Overnight: Delamore Lodge

 

DAY 5 – AUCKLAND (B) After breakfast, check out of your hotel and be transferred to the ferry terminal for the return trip to Auckland. The remainder of the day is free to explore Auckland before checking in to the QT Hotel for your final night. Overnight: QT Auckland

 

DAY 6 – FAREWELL (B) Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Enjoy a final breakfast and then  your gourmet Auckland & Waiheke Island experience concludes upon, check-out of your hotel. (B = breakfast, L = lunch D = dinner)
